Palm Springs, California – November 2016

It was one of the most vibrant places I’ve been.

A week work trip in Palm Springs was unforgettable. It was love at first sight, especially with our Airbnb accommodation. It was a geo house in the middle of a windmill farm with a 360 view of the desert. It was such a unique feeling being in the middle of nowhere especially that it was my first time being in a desert. The isolation gave us time to relax and enjoy the scenery while also focusing on some work while in between meetings.

On the weekend, we went on a road trip to Salvation Mountain and Joshua Tree National Park. It was picturesque. If you only have a couple of days in the area, the man made art sculpture and the national park should be on your priority list. Skip the pools and resorts and go straight to these unique destinations.

I don’t have food places to recommend as we spent our time cooking. However, the Mexican grocery called ‘Cardenas’ in Cathedral City is definitely a go-to place.

I can’t wait to come back. Here are some of my photographs taken with Leica Summilux 35mm.
